For São Paulo Destination Expert André Koronfli, the city is fully of contrasts and beautiful imperfections that reflect our own lives, where you can always find something new, different and interesting to do. You never get bored there. Here he gives you an idea of what he means…
“I’m really looking forward to telling you all about São Paulo, the eclectic multicultural city that has been home to me my whole life, with beautiful chaos that has always been dear to me…
I’ve never fallen out of love with it, even if the traffic can be really annoying sometimes! But you forget that when you walk down the beautiful tree-lined streets, see the vibrant street art, or have a coffee in your favorite café, watching people as they’re going about their day.
I especially love Vila Madalena neighborhood, because it´s a mix of residential and businesses, lots of street art, nice stores, art galleries, movie theaters, restaurants, bars, so I can really indulge in what I like doing: photography, music, films and art. It’s also close to subways and connects with other important areas in the city like “Jardins” and “Itaim Bibi”.
I’ve always been passionate about travelling, so I often get to places other than São Paulo. I have visited a fair amount of places abroad too in Europe, Asia, North America and South America.
Treasured memories of those trips were in Japan – seeing Mount Fuji outlined against a beautiful clear blue sky was a dream come true, or visiting Odaiba district and seeing all of Tokyo from the Fuji TV tower. It’s amazing to see such big and crowed city where everything works perfectly!
I’ve made good friends on my trips and love giving them a glimpse of the city through my eyes when they come and visit, and that’s the kind of experience I want to help you create. I can’t wait to hear about what you’d like to do on your trip!
André speaks Portuguese, English and Spanish. And is now trying French!
“We flew like birds in Madrid with the teleferico across the casa del campo, gliding just above the houses and trees. Wonderful day!”

“My husband and I spent a week in Cape Town last march. Amber was my contact at Cmycities and I must say she was great helping us make our stay the most enjoyable possible! Amber is easy to get in touch with and is extremely reactive. She gave us tailor-made advices, as I had been in Cape Town only once, years ago (loved Green Market Square and the Truth Coffee).
I particularly appreciated her good tips (we were looking for running spots and found great ones at the Sea Point Waterfront) and addresses that no guide tour would have given me (girl-to-girl best spots like shopping in the Watershed) but also lots of groovy attractions for the two of us. “

“I had a wonderful last minute week-end in London two months ago… Cmycities London helped me find a hotel, select a musical and recommended the Saatchi Gallery, which was really for me an amazing experience. I can only recommend Marie-Pascale, for the personal touch I am always looking for when I travel… and I can’t wait to travel again with Cmycities! “

“We had the most incredible experience in Paris a few weeks ago! The trip was a surprise long weekend for our 5 year-old daughter birthday and it was just perfect! Her eyes are still sparkling, maybe from seeing the Eiffel Tower?! We managed to keep a day out at Disneyland as a surprise. It’s a family trip we’ll never forget! “

“I only had a short stay in Sao Paulo but I was lucky to have Andre to show me around and point me in the right direction. He knows all the good spots and fun areas, and you can definitely tell how much he loves his city! I can’t wait to go back and explore more of this incredible city!
I highly recommend getting in touch with him before your stay!
Thanks again Andre :)”
