GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALES

ARTICLE 1 – SCOPE

These General Terms and Conditions of Sales apply to all Cmycities services sales as proposed on the website www.cmycities.com, SIRET: 81456751700010.

These General Terms and Conditions of Sales are available at any time on the website www.cmycities.com

Cmycities reserve the right to modify these General Terms and Conditions of Sales at any time and undertakes to make these modifications appear on the website www.cmycities.com

The confirmation and payment of an order online mean unconditional acceptance without restriction or reserve of these General Terms and Conditions of Sales which prevails over all other documentation. With this confirmation and payment online, the Client agrees on price and acknowledges that she/he was given the necessary assistance and guidance to choose the right type of service.

ARTICLE 2 – DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICES PROVIDED

1 – City Keys

Under City Keys, Cmycities’ Destination Expert offers the Client tailored advice on the organization of her/his trip to a particular city/area and remains available throughout her/his stay.

City Keys is open to singles, couples, groups or families.

2 – Country Keys

Under Country Keys, Cmycities’ Destination Experts offer the Client tailored advice on the organization of her/his trip to all destinations in one specific country and remain available throughout her/his stay.

Country Keys is open to singles, couples, groups or families.

3 – City Move

City Move is open to Clients, alone or as a family, who have a short, medium or long term relocation project to a particular city/area.

Under City Move, the Destination Expert concerned at Cmycities provides assistance and guidance to the Client before and throughout her/his installation.

The Destination Expert guides the Client in his choices and decisions (selection of neighbourhoods, schools, activities – where and how to practice, lifestyle, corner stores…) and answers the Client’s questions at her/his best before or after the move.

4 – City Student

City Student is open to students and their family.

Under City Student, Cmycities Destination Expert provides assistance and guidance to the Client before and throughout the student’s installation. The hotline is available during the duration of the stay of the student.

The Destination Expert guides the Client in his choices and decisions (selection of neighbourhoods, transport options, activities – where and how to practice, lifestyle, corner stores…) and answers the student’s questions at her/his best before or after the move.

Included in the City Student: Half a dy spent exploring the city with the Destination Expert. The itinary is established according to the preferences of the client.

5 – Welcome Pass

The Welcome Pass is a service which gives the client the opportunity to meet up in person with the Destination Expert over a drink (coffee, wine…). The client decides the time and the place and the Destination Expert will spend 2 hours talking through the visit and answering any questions. The client will also have the contact details (telephone, email..) of the Destination Expert during his stay.

6- City Connect

With City Connect, Cmycities provide the Client with an opportunity to place a classified ad on www.cmycities.com for (3) three months.

These Ads are purely and strictly limited to the following:

  • conversation exchanges offer
  • language courses search/offer
  • home exchange/rentals search/offer
  • house/pet sitting search/offer
  • internship, au-pair job or summer job search/offer
  • job search/offer

ARTICLE 3 – ORDER PROCESS AND REALIZATION

1 – City Keys

The customer can subscribe directly online.

If she/he wishes or has any questions on the services and/or conditions, she/he may also contact the Destination Expert before subscribing online.

Upon receipt of the payment, the Client is handled by the Destination Expert.

From there, the process is as follows:

  • the Destination Expert gets in contact with the Client to agree on a date and time for a session via phone or skype
  • during the scheduled interview the Client goes through his request for assistance in details and the Destination Expert ensures he fully understands the Client’s needs
  • within (3) three working days upon this interview, with or without further discussions, the Destination Expert sends the Client a fully documented e-mail with answers to her/his questions and personalized suggestions

In addition, the Client may contact her/his Destination during her/his stay, 7 days a week, from 9am to 6pm. In the event that the Destination Expert is not reachable, the Client is invited to leave a voice message, send a sms or an e-mail, to which the Destination Expert undertakes to reply within (2) two hours.

The order will be valid upon acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sales and after the payment is received.

Cmycities as a legal entity and/or the Destination Expert herself/himself reserve the right to refuse part or the entire Client’s request.

2 – Country Keys

The customer can subscribe directly online.

If she/he wishes or has any questions on the services and/or conditions, she/he may also contact the Destination Experts, in the country, before subscribing online.

Upon receipt of the payment, the Client is handled by the Destination Experts.

  • From there, the process is as follows:
    the Destination Expert gets in contact with the Client to agree on a date and time for a session via phone or skype
  • during the scheduled interview the Client goes through his request for assistance in details and the Destination Expert ensures he fully understands the Client’s needs
  • within (3) three working days upon this interview, with or without further discussions, the Destination Experts send the Client a fully documented e-mail with answers to her/his questions and personalized suggestions

In addition, the Client may contact any of the Destination Experts in the country concerned during her/his stay, 7 days a week, from 9am to 6pm. In the event that the Destination Experts are not reachable, the Client is invited to leave a voice message, send a sms or an e-mail, to which the Destination Experts undertake to reply within (2) two hours.

The order will be valid upon acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sales and after the payment is received.

Cmycities as a legal entity and/or the Destination Expert herself/himself reserve the right to refuse part or the entire Client’s request.

3 – City Move

The customer can directly subscribe online.

If she/he wishes or has any questions on the services and/or conditions, she/he may also contact the Destination Expert before subscribing online.

Upon receipt of the payment, the Client is handled by the Destination Expert.

From there, the process is as follows:

  • the Destination Expert gets in contact with the Client to agree on a date and time for a session via phone or skype
  • during the scheduled interview the Client goes through his request for assistance in details and the Destination Expert ensures she/he fully understands the Client’s needs
  • within (5) five working days upon this interview, with or without further discussions, the
  • Destination Expert sends the Client a fully documented email with answers to her/his questions and personalized suggestions
  • the Destination Expert remains at the Client’s disposal for permanent guidance until she/he actually relocates and the (6) six weeks following her/his installation

City Move does not include finding accommodation or taking administrative responsibilities but Cmycities destination experts can recommend preferred service providers and stand by the Client during these steps.

City Move includes a “discovery visit”

4 – City Student

The customer can directly subscribe online.

If she/he wishes or has any questions on the services and/or conditions, she/he may also contact the Destination Expert before subscribing online.

Upon receipt of the payment, the Client is handled by the Destination Expert.

Under City Connect, the process is as follows:

  • the Destination Expert gets in contact with the Client to agree on a date and time for a session via phone or skype
  • during the scheduled interview the Client goes through his request for assistance in details and the Destination Expert ensures she/he fully understands the Client’s needs
  • within (5) five working days upon this interview, with or without further discussions, the Destination Expert sends the Client a fully documented email with answers to her/his questions and personalized suggestions
  • the Destination Expert remains at the Client’s disposal for permanent guidance until the student actually arrives and for the duration of her/his stay

City Student does not include finding accommodation or taking administrative responsibilities but Cmycities Destination Experts may recommend preferred service providers and stand by the Client during these steps.

City Student includes a “welcome visit”

5 – Welcome Pass

The customer can directly subscribe online.

If she/he wishes or has any questions on the services and/or conditions, she/he may also contact the Destination Expert before subscribing online.

Upon receipt of the payment, the Client is handled by the Destination Expert.

Under City Connect, the process is as follows:

  • the Destination Expert gets in contact with the Client to agree on a date, a time and a place for a meet up
  • during the meet up ( 2 hours) the Client goes through his request for assistance in details and the Destination Expert ensures she/he fully understands the Client’s needs
  • the client has the contact details of the Destination Expert for any other question during the stay.

6 – City Connect

The customer can directly subscribe online.

If she/he wishes or has any questions on the services and/or conditions, she/he may also contact the Destination Expert before subscribing online.

Under City Connect, the process is as follows:

  • the Client subscribes to the offer online and send her/his proposal for his Ad through the application form provided for this purpose
  • Cmycities will process and validate the Ad if appropriate within (2) two working days
  • the Client proceeds with payment online
  • upon receipt of the payment, Cmycities post the Ad on the website within (24) twenty-four hours
  • upon publication of the Ad on the website, the Client only is responsible for all communications and treatment relating to this ad.

Cmycities are not responsible for responding to communication relating to this ad or handling of the request.

ARTICLE 4 – PRICING

The prices for Cmycities services are the ones on the day the order is confirmed, as listed on the website www.cmycities.com.

ARTICLE 5 – PAYMENT TERMS

The Client’s payment is made as a single sum on the website www.cmycities.com via Paypal or via other online payment services.

Once the purchase is confirmed, the Client receives a notification by email.

The purchase order is considered final after receipt of the Client’s full payment by Cmycities.

Payments are not refundable. However, specifically for City Keys and City Keys+ Cmycities allow the Client who has to cancel her/his trip, for whatever reason, to choose another date on the same destination or another destination amongst destinations where Cmycities have a Destination Expert. This reschedule can occur only once.

ARTICLE 6 – RESPONSIBILITIES

Services provided by Cmycities to the Client are fully compliant with the applicable law.

Cmycities are not responsible for the offers of service providers or partners and can never be blamed in the event of a dispute.

Cmycities may not be held liable for damage or prejudice of any kind that might be caused to the Client during her/his stay. The Client is covered by her/his own personal/travel insurance.

The Client is responsible for the personal information she/he transmits to Cmycities.

ARTICLE 7 – DATA INFORMATION AND INDIVIDUAL LIBERTIES

In accordance with the law, the Client has a permanent right of access, rectification and deletion of its registered data.

ARTICLE 8 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

All contents of the website www.cmycities.com including editorial contents, graphics, logos, trademarks, programmes, photos, videos are the sole property of Cmycities and are protected by French and international intellectual property laws.

Total or partial reproduction or translation of the website contents is strictly forbidden and will be considered as counterfeiting.

ARTICLE 9 – APPLICABLE LAW

These General Terms and Conditions of Sales are governed by French law. Should they be translated into one or more languages, the French texts shall be the only authoritative texts in the event of a dispute.
