After any initial questions, and once you’ve purchased this option, you’ll arrange a time with your Destination Expert to discuss your project in detail (by phone or video call). They will then get back to you with the information you agreed. From that point you can turn to your Destination Expert with any further questions to help you plan everything perfectly.

Your Destination Expert knows their city inside out. They can help you find the right area to live in, help with your flat search (putting you in contact with professionals if web search is not the best option for you), help with transport options, medical contacts and can basically help with any questions using their local network.

When it comes to looking for accommodation, we are here to give you all the tips to do just that! We’ll show you the best websites to search and how we as locals look for a room or a flat so you don’t fall into any traps. We will make suggestions and help you with choosing the right one, put you in contact with potential landlords we  know of in our network. Or if you prefer, we can put you in contact with professionals who can organize everything for you before you arrive.

Most importantly, the Destination Expert remains available once the student has arrived. We are only a phone call away from the student or their parents for any extra questions or in case of emergency.

Included in the City Student option: “A Welcome Visit”: half a day spent exploring the city with our Destination Expert. The itinerary is established according to your preferences.

If you are considering a destination which is not yet listed on our website, please get in touch with us as we have contacts in many countries, and new destinations are being added regularly.

After visiting Athens with my family at a young age, all I had in mind was going back to Greece to find the sweet aroma of the orange blossoms that had captivated me. About 4 years ago, my dream came true! Not only did I make it back to Athens, but also met my very own Greek God… and have never been able to leave the city since then!

Athens is a city with a thousand facets where life is good, rocked by its ancient history and its mild Mediterranean sun throughout the year. Explore the historic center and get lost in the pretty alleys of Plaka, where you will find a myriad of taverns where you can enjoy a delicious moussaka accompanied by a refreshing ouzo. In the evening, grab a drink in one of the trendy rooftops of Monastiraki, and enjoy the beautiful view of the Acropolis…
Athens is also the starting point to reach many Greek islands, some of which can be reached in just an hour by boat. Did you say getaway? Yes!

Whether in Athens for a weekend or an extended vacation, I will be happy to share with you my good spots around the city and its surroundings. I can also help you organise your vacation in Greece and more particularly in Corfu, the largest of the Ionian islands with a rich multicultural background and breathtaking landscapes.

After 5 years in South India, then 3 in Sri Lanka, I settled in Casablanca with my family.
Morocco is a beautiful country! So rich in landscapes, culture, craftsmanship and hospitality.
This country offers a multitude of possibilities in discoveries, that one is adept of big spaces, in search of thrills or that one likes to go to meet the inhabitants in the souks, the kasbah, shared a delicious meal prepared with heart … you will inevitably find your happiness in Morocco.
I will be happy to guide you among the many possibilities of change of scenery off the beaten path.

There are two faces to Dubai, the “over the top”, extravagant, state-of-the-art architecture with its modern sky-scrapers, shopping malls and artificial islands of The World and the more charming and authentic side with its traditional housings, souks where you think you’d stepped into a different era and thats the best part!
I live in the modern Dubai but enjoy taking a stroll in the old Dubai, by the Creek to watch all the abras (wooden fishing boats) speeding across the Creek to reach Deira and its hidden treasures of the past.

I am Belgian and a happy mother of 3 children. I have lived in the region for almost 5 years, where I totally feel at home. As your destination expert across the region, I am not only fascinated by Dubai and its neighbouring Emirates, of which Abu Dhabi and others, but I am also passionate about Oman, the country next door, only 4 hours away from Dubai.
Abu Dhabi is also definitely worth the trip. It’s an hour’s drive from Dubai and hosts all the cultural events and museums – such as the Louvre Abu Dhabi – and is also considered as the cradle of the Emirati civilisation.

Oman is the pearl of Arabia! Oman is as surprising as unfamiliar. It’s magic – as you travel and explore the wonders of its landscape – formed by deserts, mountains, oasis and virgin beaches with pristine blue waters, you will realize why this country is known as the pearl of Arabia. It simply has so much to offer and one thing that really stands out is the kindness and closeness of its people and the authenticity of their culture.

So why not make a round trip Dubai – Abu Dhabi (and /or other Emirates) – Oman? I can guide you through the region and make your experience a fantastic one!

And don’t forget that you can also ask to have an itinerary planned with both Cmycities Oman and Cmycities Dubai – Abu Dhabi as we do collaborate to offer you services across both locations.

Expatriate for 20 years, mainly in Africa and in the overseas territorial departments, I have been living in Kuala Lumpur for the past 2 years with my family.
Having always loved travelling, I am always looking for a new place to discover.
Malaysia is a fascinating country, offering a nice mix of cultures (and religion) between Chinese, Malay and Indian people. This multicultural atmosphere is reflected through the architectures, religious places (Hindu or Chinese temples and mosques…) and the cuisine.
You will be seduced by the beauty of its nature whether you are in the jungle or on beautiful beaches where you will be able to dive and do all sorts of activities, which creates contrast with the modernity of the city or its colonial cities still authentic and classified world heritage of unesco.
With family or with friends, alone or in a group, from low to high budgets, everyone will find their happiness.
It is a destination still poorly won over by tourism and that holds many hidden paradises !
It would be my pleasure to share with you my discoveries and my tips and tricks to make your Malaysian journey unforgettable.

After many trips and expatriations including Australia, Canada, Mexico and Thailand, it is in Cuba that I landed 3 years ago and I fell in love with.

Cuba is one of the few countries where you still feel out of time and completely disconnected (in every meaning!). It is a destination that offers a total change of scenery with the rest of the world and offers an amazing authenticity and contrast through local encounters, colonial architecture and landscapes. It is a country rich in history, which offers a fascinating cultural and religious mix.

Cuba goes beyond American cars, cigars, paradisiacal beaches and a sunny weather 🙂 I would be delighted to share with you the different facets still unknown of this Caribbean heart, full of color and joie de vivre !
