After many trips and expatriations including Australia, Canada, Mexico and Thailand, it is in Cuba that I landed 3 years ago and I fell in love with.

Cuba is one of the few countries where you still feel out of time and completely disconnected (in every meaning!). It is a destination that offers a total change of scenery with the rest of the world and offers an amazing authenticity and contrast through local encounters, colonial architecture and landscapes. It is a country rich in history, which offers a fascinating cultural and religious mix.

Cuba goes beyond American cars, cigars, paradisiacal beaches and a sunny weather 🙂 I would be delighted to share with you the different facets still unknown of this Caribbean heart, full of color and joie de vivre !

Arrived in Buenos Aires more than three years ago to improve my Spanish, to know a new continent just with my backpack, I finally decided to live here. I fell in love with this city that never sleeps, the human warmth of its inhabitants, and the man who is today the father of my little one, who is Argentinian. Alone, as a couple or family, this country has something for everyone!

Argentina is a land rich in wonders of nature! From the Atlantic coast with its whales, its penguins, its majestic Iguazu falls, its vineyards sprouting from the deserts through its western landscapes in the North-West, its magical glaciers in Patagonia, its city at the end of the world that is Ushuaia and languorous tango in Buenos Aires, this country will not stop to surprise and I will be more than happy to make you discover it. You will see, to explore it is to love it!

Expatriate for 20 years, mainly in Africa and in the overseas territorial departments, I have been living in Kuala Lumpur for the past 2 years with my family.
Having always loved travelling, I am always looking for a new place to discover.
Malaysia is a fascinating country, offering a nice mix of cultures (and religion) between Chinese, Malay and Indian people. This multicultural atmosphere is reflected through the architectures, religious places (Hindu or Chinese temples and mosques…) and the cuisine.
You will be seduced by the beauty of its nature whether you are in the jungle or on beautiful beaches where you will be able to dive and do all sorts of activities, which creates contrast with the modernity of the city or its colonial cities still authentic and classified world heritage of unesco.
With family or with friends, alone or in a group, from low to high budgets, everyone will find their happiness.
It is a destination still poorly won over by tourism and that holds many hidden paradises !
It would be my pleasure to share with you my discoveries and my tips and tricks to make your Malaysian journey unforgettable.

My story with Sri Lanka began more than 10 years ago with the meeting of my future wife, who was born and raised in her life. After several round trips, we take the plunge and decide to settle there.
I am passionate very quickly for Colombo, this capital which contains authentic and animated places. I will be happy to make you discover off the beaten track to meet the population and their traditions.
I discovered this magical island where welcome and kindness are not empty words and qualities anchored in all Sri Lankans.
Lovers of nature and hiking, I find in this island all that I need. A variety of landscapes: green mountains with beaches lined with coconut trees. The local cuisine, generous and spicy is also a valuable asset of this country with multiple flavors.
I want to share all these encounters, these new places and my passion for the country and I do not doubt that Sri Lanka will fill you and justify its reputation of “Pearl of the Indian Ocean”.

After four years of expatriation in Jakarta – Indonesia, I now live in Hanoi with my family.
This first experience abroad gave me the love of traveling and the desire to discover Southeast Asia more.
Hanoi is a city with crazy charm: a mix between small streets, street-food restaurants, pagodas, the vibrant «Old Quarter» and elegant wide Haussmanian avenues lined with trees and Belle Époque villas as well as its Opera built on the model of the Garnier Palace, its St-Joseph Cathedral and the Hoan Kiem lake.
The capital of Vietnam is a promise of a unique stay, combining tradition, culture, colonial heritage, exoticism and modernity.
The choice of things to do in the rest of the country is vast. Why not spend a night in Halong Bay, go trekking in the north through the mountains of Sapa, visit the Imperial City in Hué, stroll through the alleys of Hoi An, discover the Mekong Delta or simply lay back at the beach!
It is also a paradise for food lovers with its incredible gastronomy, a cuisine full of freshness that will undoubtedly be one of the daily highlights of your trip!
Vietnam is a beautiful and authentic country and I would be happy to help you organize your stay!

After visiting Athens with my family at a young age, all I had in mind was going back to Greece to find the sweet aroma of the orange blossoms that had captivated me. About 4 years ago, my dream came true! Not only did I make it back to Athens, but also met my very own Greek God… and have never been able to leave the city since then!

Explore the historic center and get lost in the pretty alleys of Plaka, where you will find a myriad of taverns where you can enjoy a delicious moussaka accompanied by a refreshing ouzo. In the evening, grab a drink in one of the trendy rooftops of Monastiraki, and enjoy the beautiful view of the Acropolis…
Athens is also the starting point to reach many Greek islands, some of which can be reached in just an hour by boat. Did you say getaway? Yes!

Whether in Athens for a weekend or an extended vacation, I will be happy to share with you my good spots around the city and its surroundings. I can also help you organise your vacation in Greece and more particularly in Corfu, the largest of the Ionian islands with a rich multicultural background and breathtaking landscapes.

I have always been fascinated by Egypt, that of the Nile and pharaohs. Having visited Cairo many times in my life, when my husband announced to me our next expatriation destination, I jumped to the ceiling. And how could I have reacted differently, Cairo is the mother of the world “Oum el-Dounia,” said Shéhérazade in telling his Arabian Nights.
Between the mythical imprint left by the pharaohs, the souks, the medieval city, the colonial avenues, and so many masterpieces erected by the successive Arab, Kurdish, Mamluk, Ottoman and European governments. Cairo is a joyful and amazing capital where times mix and charm operates.
I am Franco-Moroccan living in Cairo with my husband and two children, we find a lot of fun discovering this country and enjoying the magic of this city.
I will be more than happy to help you listen, smell, taste and appreciate the many facets of Cairo and Egypt.

There are two faces to Dubai, the “over the top”, extravagant, state-of-the-art architecture with its modern sky-scrapers, shopping malls and artificial islands of The World and the more charming and authentic side with its traditional housings, souks where you think you’d stepped into a different era and thats the best part!
I live in the modern Dubai but enjoy taking a stroll in the old Dubai, by the Creek to watch all the abras (wooden fishing boats) speeding across the Creek to reach Deira and its hidden treasures of the past.

I am Belgian and a happy mother of 3 children. I have lived in the region for almost 5 years, where I totally feel at home. As your destination expert across the region, I am not only fascinated by Dubai and its neighbouring Emirates, of which Abu Dhabi and others, but I am also passionate about Oman, the country next door, only 4 hours away from Dubai.
Abu Dhabi is also definitely worth the trip. It’s an hour’s drive from Dubai and hosts all the cultural events and museums – such as the Louvre Abu Dhabi – and is also considered as the cradle of the Emirati civilisation.

Oman is the pearl of Arabia! Oman is as surprising as unfamiliar. It’s magic – as you travel and explore the wonders of its landscape – formed by deserts, mountains, oasis and virgin beaches with pristine blue waters, you will realize why this country is known as the pearl of Arabia. It simply has so much to offer and one thing that really stands out is the kindness and closeness of its people and the authenticity of their culture.

So why not make a round trip Dubai – Abu Dhabi (and /or other Emirates) – Oman? I can guide you through the region and make your experience a fantastic one!

And don’t forget that you can also ask to have an itinerary planned with both Cmycities Oman and Cmycities Dubai – Abu Dhabi as we do collaborate to offer you services across both locations.
